Let us glorify Creator God!

Happy New Year!! We read in today's passage how we are made in the image of God. Let us commit this year to learn more than we ever have about the character of Christ so that we can reflect his mercy, and love, and truth to the world around us.

My family went downtown for the New Year's Eve celebration and visited some of the museums. One of the big exhibits is a dinosaur room. Thinking about the creation account in Genesis always brings up lot of questions about where the dinosaurs fit into the whole scheme of things. Mom and I were talking and we concluded that before the fall, all animals would have lived in perfect harmony with each other. There is no documentation as to how long after the 7 day creation Adam and Eve lived enjoying their fellowship with God and His creation before Eve took the fateful bite of fruit. It's one of those great mysteries that I'll be excited to have answered when I'm in the presence of my Creator.

"Be transformed by the renewing of your mind...."

I've been reading through the One Year Bible and simply trying to gain a better understanding of who God is in each passage and who I am in relation to who God is, then applying these truths to my life. Check out http://www.oneyearbibleonline.com/ for today's readings. Journal and/or share some thoughts!!
